Day 2 of 31 days of Pinterest

One thing I super love about Pinterest is the huge homeschool presence. I have found so many ideas i never would of thought of myself. My homeschoolers are PreSchool, 1st grade, 4th grade and 8th graders. Being so spaced out their is little things we do as a group so I'm always looking for fun activies to keep the others busy while I am working with another child. Most of all I have to keep the 3 year old happy and out of our hair. Busy bags are a Godsend. So many good Ideas out their too and big huge bonus if I dont have to buy something for a project. I came across this and I was stoaked.

A matching game with milk caps! You could use numbers, letters, shapes, colors or even stickers! and here is the link to the site where this orginates from.

Day 1 of 31 days of Pinterest

So keeping with the "frugal" theme of the blog I thought day 1 should fall into that catagogry. This particular item went into my "wish list" board mainly because it didn't fit into any other catagory other than "dude, thats cool and I want like 4 of them" and since I dont have a board called that, wish list it is.

What is that? you ask. It's the Conserve Socket, which turns off automatically after 30 minutes, three hours, or six hours of use. (They also make another socket, the Conserve Valet, that turns off when an electronic device is fully charged) Saving you Money!! This is put out by the belkin company. I had to of course check the price and it seems these bad boys run about $17-20 but in the long run might save you a bit of $$$. I'm not ready to run out and buy one just yet but thought it was a nifty enough of a device to pass it on to you.

Broken Leg

My 6 year old broke her leg this evening. Please keep her in your prayers we had to transfer to the children's hospital in PA. We are inpatently waiting to see the ortho and get re-xrayed.. Here's some pics from the journey so far. 31 days of pinterest is still on the first few posts where already scheduled.

Toddler Chore Charts {Frugal Freebie}

I decided it was time for some new chore charts for my 3 year old. I looked around on the web and pinterest then decided to make my own. I wanted something I could laminate and use weekly. With both photo's and text. And with check boxes. I figured why not share this with others in case they are looking for the same thing. I figured I can laminate them or even put them in frames and let her decorate the frames. If they are framed in or plastic you can check items off with an expo marker just as you can with laminating. Or if you want to print new ones weekly you can do that too.

Their are 4 pages in this PDF downloadable pack. 2 charts total (one for pet chores one with out) and charts in both black and white and color.

Tomorrow Starts the "31 days of Pinterest"

I'm very excited to do this, and get other bloggers involved. In this Weekly "blog hop" Sharing your Pinterest finds.
